Review of Lonesome Jim (2005) by Erik O — 10 Jul 2008
I thought that it was a surprisingly funny and sweet indie film. I don't really see how it falls into the bogus "comedy-drama" category... there isn't a whole lot of dramatic happenings in this film, but there is a whole lot of somewhat understated comedy.
It's really just a simple, down-home film, with likeable characters, and a lot of very funny moments. Steve Buscemi did a great job with this one.
