Look at Travolta's face in the poster... it's weird - and that describes his performance perfectly. Scott Caan was mildly entertaining while I couldn't figure out Gandolfini. Hayek was over the top, but Jared Leto was fine.
.. the movie wasn't that good even though it did a good job with the time setting.
