Review of Lone Wolf McQuade (1983) by Jordan T — 09 Dec 2008
The pre-cursor to "Walker, Texas Ranger" and equally as entertaining. I'm gonna show a lot of love to Chuck Norris flicks just because Chuck is so badass, but such a nice guy at the same time lol.
There are some nice bits of dialogue, a hilarious looking midget, an old hippy, and the Lone Wolf's filthy truck. I find it so hard to believe that David Carradine is some world class black belt, but he works for the role.
It's not apparent what the hell Carradine's motive is though cuz we just know he has a bunch of weapons, but WHY?! Chuck as JJ McQuade is the same old womanizer he plays in "Good Guys Wear Black" except this time he drinks A LOT of beer and doesn't do as many crazy stunts.
Still, Chuck delivers the roundhouse kicks and takes out all the bad guys...NICE. Took me forever to find it on DVD, but well worth the search and the viewing time.
