Since I absolutely hated The Kingdom from a few years ago, I was immediately worried when I saw that Peter Berg directed this and I was partially justified in that worry. It's a shame that big chunks of this movie were fabricated for the film, but there were segments of the film that do work.
It's just not nearly as good as it should have been.
