Review of Lone Survivor (2013) by Tara H — 04 Feb 2015
I personally loved the movie. It was well directed, filmed, cast, and portrayed the events very well. I don't have any major critiques about this film. I thought the actors gave their best performances.
It was even more moving knowing that the actors and director personally spoke with the families. They might not have captured all the events exactly as they occurred because Luttrell didn't personally witness all of their deaths, but he and the actors paid tribute to these fallen men.
The story line was perfect because it was true. It was heart wrenching to watch them die even though I knew it was coming. The best shot scene of the movie was when they were falling down the mountain.
My favorite part of the movie was when they extracted Marcus.
