Review of Lone Survivor (2013) by Official C — 05 Feb 2016

I get in disagreements with people about how this ranks compared to other war movies. I think this movie is better than Saving Private Ryan because this story is real. I know that D-Day and WWII really happened, but every character in this movie who died is an actual person who really died under the circumstances described in this movie.

This movie gets hate from some people who say that it's just nationalistic propaganda intended to get support for the US military. If you believe that, then you are a terrible person. You cannot discount a movie based on the idea thatgoox men and women have died to protect your freedom just because your a hippie. So if you think that you can just right off this event as a bunch of people fighting a stupid war, then you have the right to go f*ck yourself.

This movie does such a good job of showing a real tragedy that I believe not liking this movie is an insult to great men.
