Review of London to Brighton (2006) by Wayne B — 02 Oct 2007
Not for the socially squemish, this tale of child prostitution, murder, and pimps was amazing. Low budget filming adds to the realism and the non-linear story plays out right to the end (or almost) Doesn't shy away from an eneding which hollywood would change but this is not the world of "Pretty Woman".
Georgia Groome is fantastic as Joanne a performance that was rich and layered for someone so young.
