Review of London Has Fallen (2016) by Emanuel P — 27 Mar 2016
When you don't judge the movie by its merits, but rather your political views as a parameter, you end up being this offended you simply lose all track of reality and become unable to discern your political views from the cinematography.
This movie depicts an event that has ALREADY taken place multiple times throughout Europe in the past 2 years, but on a much larger scale. To say this movie is "racist" because the terrorist is a Muslim is pretty pathetic. Only someone who smells their own farts would have the cognitive dissonance to state such thing,. Specially after all that's been going on. "muaa muaa don't make X person from X religion be the bad guy. I'm offended".
This is a well crafted movie with lots of action, a mediocre plot, but that's how terrorists are, Mediocre. And amazing soundtrack that will kick in to help you digest what's going on screen.
When you see critics cho0sing to display such sentences such as "London Has Fallen is Donald Trump in film form." Or "a movie for bigots" "or right wing watch" or "insensitively times" (yeah, maybe because Muslim terrorists just bombed another place, how ( ironic eh?) you know very well these people are speaking through their agendas and political views.
Is the movie bad acted? No.
Does the special effects hold on? Yes.
Is it brainless action? Yes.
Is it racist? How so, because the terrorist is a Muslim? We're getting bombed left and right (pun intended) by terrorists, so how is this racist?
Much of the "critics" raised are pure lies so they can justify giving the movie a low score. At least have the decency to say why you scored it this low.
Trust me, it's not a bad movie. Just has the "wrong" political message and was "insensitively times" (I still can't get over this one). I'm going to see it again so it generates more revenue and pisses these perpetually offended off.
