Review of London Has Fallen (2016) by Fabian J — 22 Aug 2017
Unfairly savaged by the critics this more than serviceable terrorist caper covers all the bases with enough bullets and explosions to satisfy even the most ardent armchair trooper. Gerard Butler puts in an excellent performance as chief security wonk whilst Aaron Ekhart does his best to remain presidential whilst mowing down a host of gun toting nere'do wells .
Effective special effects see LOndon in tatters and whilst the final gun fight might seem a little underwhelming, it's made up for by much that precedes it such as excellent car chases and some original stunts.
