Ex-ganster is trying to go straight but the past seems to catch up to him. A pretty typical British ganster film (although written & directed by a Boston born Monahan) with the typical cliches of the genre all present.
Farrell seems to sleepwalk through the role mostly and Knightley is barely there. Lots of better speciments of this genre can be found so don't bother.
