Review of Lolita (1962) by Joshua C — 17 Mar 2008
Maybe a little too dark for my tastes. If you do Lolita (no pun intended) without the beautiful Nabokov prose, you lose quite a bit. Very slow, very methodical movie with creepy performances by Sellers and Mason (though they were both terrific in their creepiness).
I'm still processing this one.
