Review of Lolita (1962) by Adam B — 02 Aug 2008
This feels more like a Hitchcock, but it has the Kubrick stamp of excellence. Wonderful lighting, sets, and some very interesting shots, with just the right amount of humor. Peter Sellers is great, too, while Mason gives an unsettling performance as Humbert Humbert.
