Review of Lolita (1962) by Foon Vincent W — 01 May 2009
I am not a big fan of Kubrick, but I am so glad I have finally watched this 1962 classic. It's about a man's obsession with his young, sexy precocious step daughter. His internal struggle drives him clinically insane and commits a murder.
I like how the story unfolds, although it's really predictable, both the cinematography and acting are very beautiful. The only little thing about it that I don't like so much is its length, it could be at least 30 mins shorter.
