A cheeky film adapted by Kubrik from a cheeky book. Sue Lyon seemed to be on the verge of a major career that never materialized. Great performances from Mason, Winters, and Sellers (all playing characters who we ultimately don't really like; we sympathize with Mason but never actually identify with him).
