Review of Lolita (1962) by Pavan D — 30 Oct 2012
Good story. It was interesting how James Mason's character was possessed by jealous and anger because of that little girl. Sue Lyon did a terrific job. She was very mature and sensual for her age. Honestly, I was expecting that the movie show a little bit more about their relationship, to be considered so controversial.
I'm not a big fan of Stanley Kubrick, but it's an OK movie. I can see why was a little bit shocking to its time. Isn't that Jerry Lee Lewis' life?
