Review of Logan's Run (1976) by Caleb M — 03 Jun 2008
Sure its cheesy, but its still very entertaining and pretty moving. Goldsmith's score is excellent, and the sets/costumes are very cool. I loved the neon-light room at the body changing store. Michael York reminded me a little of Charlton Heston here, and his role is pretty similar to some of heston's sci-fi films made around the same time.
Jenny Agutter is as lovley here as she was in An American Werewolf in London and Peter Ustinov is very funny as the Old Man. For a PG flick there is quite a bit of nudity, not that I'm complaining or anything.
