Review of Logan's Run (1976) by Jason M — 12 Jan 2014
I just may have discovered one of my new favorite films. This is a very well written plot done in the spirit of "Brave New World" by Aldous Huxley with a little twist. The score is an analog synth track by Jerry Goldsmith and it's one of the best film scores I've ever heard.
This is a very dated sci-fi film that exists as both kitschy and uniquely surreal. The sets are of a surprisingly high level of production value. Of course, there are very bad models used to link locations and even these manage to be charming and end up completing the unique style of the film.
