After being fired from his construction job at the Charlotte Motor Speedway for medical purposes Jimmy Logan hatches a plan with his brother Clyde to rob the Speedway by exploiting his knowledge of their pneumatic tube system for moving money.
A comedic heist movie at heart Logan Lucky makes full use of its excellent cast to provide plenty of laughs and the writing and direction keeps everything moving along at a good pace. There are a few occasions where the plot relies a little too much on fortunate coincidences but these are easily ignored when the film is so much fun to watch.
