Part hokey 90s-throwback action film - complete with 2-dimensional villains with a penchant for untimely exposition, excessive bursts of gunfire, comically extreme violence, a hero fighting a younger better version of himself, an inexplicable 'lost-boys' hideaway.
in North Dakota - part ham-fisted family drama. Excellent performances by Hugh Jackman and Patrick Stewart. Disappointing, but not all-together unenjoyable.
