Review of Logan (2017) by Leon B — 01 Apr 2017
A very different take on the super hero genre and in particular, X-Men. The film does a nice job of making Logan feel relatable, human, and most challengingly, mortal. The supporting characters play their roles well.
Xavier is still a mentor of sorts to Logan though he edges on being senile with occasional hints of genius and while this is Logan's swan song, much of the story revolves around the new character Laura.
The film has a few points that make little sense but overall the film is well thought out and has only a few loose ends.
