How has it taken me so long to see this movie? Do I care about the capers? The characters? The violence? Not really. It's a lot of style and a lot of fun. Just so many characters that it's hard to keep track of who's who and who is doing what in which story.
I see this was made in 1998 and there is clearly a Tarantino influence here which is not necessarily a bad thing. I think back upon that time and pretty much every other crime film was doing its own Tarantino story but Lock Stock has a hyper story and style of its own.
