This is definitely a formulaic film but luckily it is Guy Ritchie's formula: heavy on humour with a laddish bark and a choppily weaved plot involving bad boys being bad quite badly.
This is not Ritchie's greatest hour (i prefer Snatch) but it is his debut and lays the tracks his fans enjoy following.
An enjoyable wannabe-thugs fairy tale.
