Review of Live and Let Die (1973) by Steve G — 30 Jun 2013
I can't stand the Bond series. Portrays women like toilet paper for him to use & disregard. 12-year old fantasy man-whorishness.
In addition, the film had no plot, & no suspense. You never felt Bond was in jeopardy once. Also, why don't they just put a bullet in him? They continually leave him to die in a creative way that he always gets out of.
Voodoo junk.
Great opening sequence & probably the best Bond song ever.
The other impressive aspect of the movie was Jane Seymour. Moore was quite good too. They deserved a superior vehicle. Just a terribly weak effort.
