It's actually a pretty good adaption, in my opinion. I mean for squeezing two books into one movie, plus it has Winona Ryder. Too bad I have never liked the books that much. In fact, I think the books are very overrated.
I prefer The Old-fashioned Girl and even Eight Cousins and Rose In Bloom to Little Women and Good Wives.
