I honestly thought this was a parody. Winona Ryder and Susan Sarandon's performances in this were absolutely laughable....unfortunately, Little Women is NOT a comedy. The other actors were actually very good but when the main character is Jo and Winona Ryder is playing Jo.
...well, you get the picture. Or not, if you don't want to waste your time. I suggest watching June Allyson and/or Katharine Hepburn starring as Jo in the earlier versions.
