Review of Little White Lies (2010) by Matthew M — 03 Apr 2011
Clocking in at a little under three million years long, Little White Lies will give you arse and leg cramps, but you will laugh and sympathise for the duration, because it is actually pretty decent. I'm just surprised it is as long as it is.
There are so many padded scenes that could have found their way into the editing room bin. And my main fear is...loads probably did find their way into the editing room bin. God forbid this film could have been four million years long.
At least it has at heart, and beating at the very core is the bond of friendship, and how friendship must be kept alive through the use of little white lies. Sadly these little white lies consume everything in their path and evolve into massive shite lies.
And Francois Cluzet is the spitting image of Dustin Hoffman in every single way. It's alarming how similar they are.
