Review of Little Shop of Horrors (1986) by Richard H — 30 May 2009
The little shop of horrors is a purely dleightful film. Based on the famous Roger Corman film of the same name which was shot in 2 days, this film starts with Seymour who works on skid row in a flower shop and the businees is not doing so good then he shows his boss a new plant called Audrey II then the business starts blooming and so does Seymours relationship to Audrey.
The film is very unusual but it is very funny and charming. The songs are brilliant my fave is Skid Row (Downtown). The effects for the time are brilliant and this by far Frank Oz's best film along with Bowfinger.
If you are a fan of musicals or great cheesy films then this your film and trust me you wont be disappointed even if your not a fan of those genres ireckong you'll love it.
