I mean from the get go this movie is entertaining, with song lyrics like "All my life, I've been asking God what I'm for? And he tells me gee I'm not sure." The movie is crazy but funny.
And a cast so well put together that even the background singers went on to have good acting jobs. I love all of the music bits. "Downtown" "The Guy Sure Looks Like Plant Food to Me" The intro song, the song when the boss is threatening him.
They all work so well. What other movie could make the simple line "Feed me, Seymour" a cinema classic.
