Review of Little Shop of Horrors (1986) by Andrew W — 10 Nov 2012
Its started as a story, then a movie, a twilight zone episode, then it was remade into a musical comedy then they made a movie about that musical. I've always loved this movie, I know the songs by heart.
Ellen Greene makes such a great ditz, while Ric Moranis really sells Seymour Krelborn. Steve Martin is perfect as the dentist, a role that is outside of the norm for him. My only compliant is the ending was changed from a tragic to "and they win somehow" scenario a real anti-climax.
