Review of Little Otik (2001) by Drew S — 17 Jun 2007

This is the most straightforward Svankmajer film I've seen. The amount of dialogue made the film easy to watch but not quite as interesting as the other films of his that I've had the pleasure of viewing.

I got a few laughs out of it, but was in no way as blown away or disturbed as I was expecting. There was a bit too much storyline and not enough stop motion animation for my liking. Still, I'd certainly watch it again.
