Review of Little Manhattan (2005) by Jisoo L — 24 Jan 2008
A very sweet little film that this has been rightfully taged pre teen Woody Allen. It is innocent, romantic, intelligent and funny. And at its heart is Josh Hutcherson who proves yet again that he is one of the most consistantly engaging and talented child actors working today.
However the film is hindered by some questionable direction. There are too many crazy camera moves and situations that don't gel with the flighty and subtle nature of the rest of the films look.
