Oh man. This one is going promptly on my top 100. So beautiful. So wonderful. The kid actors are BRILLIANT. The photography is gorgeous. The harmonica score is perfect. Truffaut cited this as a huge influence on "The 400 Blows", and it shows--but this is, like, twenty times better.
Few movies make me want to go out and make a movie more than this did. Few movies make me want to go out and live life more than this did. I love this movie.
