If nothing else, it made me like a shitty Cold Chisel song... cate's is white trash, neill plays pervy alan jones, noni is a tough mum, hugo's a grim prediction for Ian Roberts (who is also briefly in the film).
nicely shot like a Telstra ad, miserable, endearing and bleakly funny - much like living in the suburbs. US audiences seem to have trouble understanding why a drug deals goes down without a massive gun-battle - but this is an honest understated suburban aussie drama.
