Review of Little Evil (2017) by Drlowdon — 03 Sep 2017
Eli Craig and Morgan Jurgenson, the duo behind the cult hit Tucker & Dale vs. Evil, return to the horror comedy genre that made their name with mixed success. Despite the best efforts of lead actor Adam Scott (who I’ve been a fan of since Parks and Recreation) the opening half hour is a little slow, and rather short on laughs, but the movie does pick up pace as it goes along and I found myself laughing fairly regularly during the second half of the movie despite its flaws.
I’m not sure it ever reach true cult status but it makes for an enjoyable enough hour and a half.
