Review of Little Children (2006) by Anne O — 15 Apr 2009
Such a beautiful uncliche'd story. I loved how well the characters were developed. Each had their own issues and each of their stories were told beautifully, from the pedophile (Haley), the cop who accidently murdered a boy (Emmerich), the absentee wife (Connelly), the unnoticed & unappreciated husband (Wilson.
. RRRrrr...), the torn apart mother of a pedophile (Somerville), the disconnected husband, and the insecure housewife looking for idealitic love in all the wrong places (Winslet) - I felt compassion for all of them.
Great film! Great story!
