Such a perfect and unflattering depiction of suburban life that it got me depressed very quickly. Rings true to life, thanks to Oscar nominated turn from Winslet and Haley, with able support from Wilson and Connelly.
The writer of the source novel was also involved in the script, and it shows! Absorbing watch.
