Review of Little Caesar (1931) by Hunter D — 07 Jul 2007
While it has an iconic performance from Edward G. Robinson, the movie feels cheaply made at points, and it hasn't aged as well as other gangster movies from the thirties. Worth seeing for it's place in the gangster genre canon, but better early gangster pictures can be seen elsewhere, such as the Howard Hawks/Howard Hughs movie "Scarface".
