Review of Little Buddha (1993) by Vig S — 10 Jun 2007
I watched it a few years back and didn't have much of an opinion on it at all. Having watched it a second time not too long ago, I can see why! Nothing about it is memorable. Everything is wooden and false, as if the entire budget was spent on PVA holding the thing together.
I'm sure it's very sweet and terribly interesting if you're in the exact right frame of mind for it, though. Oh, and the facts are all out (well, what are believed to be facts). Though this doesn't bother me that much, giving over to artistic licence.
Though why they couldn't come up with something a little more decorative I don't know.
