The beginning was a bit sappy (or maybe it was because the beginning was mostly all in the trailer). But this turned out to be a more complex movie than it initially seemed. Lots of good messages in this story of family, war, faith and racism.
And this was the first movie I've seen where the Catholic priest had good Christian responses to difficult life questions. Great acting from Little Boy!
