Review of Little Big Man (1970) by Laura M — 07 Sep 2005
Well, Dustin Hoffman rides again. I've never been big on Westerns, so I didn't have the highest expectations for this. HOWEVER...I was wrong. I remember watching Centennial in Mrs. Maskas's 8th grade social studies class. This is like a shorter, funnier, better Centennial. Also, Dustin Hoffman is in the Guinness Book of World Records for this one: biggest age transition for one character in one film. I think he goes from about 15 years old to 121. That's not a typo.
Umm...conclusion #1: Highly recommended.
conclusion #2: NOT A REAL WESTERN.
conclusion #3: Finally...a movie without Christopher Walken!!
