Review of Little Big Man (1970) by Peter G — 06 Apr 2012
Not only do I share a lineage to the Native American's, where is this plight existed is exposed here in this movie about the ever so prevalent heisting of a peoples property, traditions, and way of life; this subject is approached with a comical sense, ingeniously so in this flick; (Dustin Hoffman)- Little Big Man and his life bumblings, starting as pioneers on a wagon train wiped out by wild Indians, thus relegated to spending his boyhood with the Cheyenne tribe, forming a sympathy for them and their way of life, whom by the way he called his brothers, eventually comes back to the white man's world, realizing he is unable to cope with the greedy harshness of this own peoples society, meanwhile accruing many different yet unsuccessful occupations to no avail.
.. This comedy culminates into one of the best movies of all time, produced by the late great actor Sydney Pollack, I think you all will enjoy this one!
