One of the better baseball movies of all time. A number of the cast members are minor league players and do a phenomenal job acting. Wonderful script and the soundtrack is just amazing with Jeff Beck and Booker T & The MG's.

Also the use of so many real ball players puts this above other movies who don't use real players or teams. "I was playing rookie ball down in Venezuela, and everyone of them kids was speakin spanish, and that's a hard language.
