Review of Listen to Me Marlon (2015) by Leena L — 04 Oct 2015
ZFF 2015. 3/5.
Marlon Brando. One of the truly great ones. A documentary on him and his life, based on recordings he made, including self hypnosis tapes. He recorder things like other write a diary. Hours and hours throughout his life. Fascinating materials with sound, film footage (Yes, he was HOT on Streetcare named Desire, in that thighs t-shirt!) and photos. Him talking all the way through.
My only complaint was the colours, dark, shady and shaking. And the annoying music, violins like cat was being killed next door and the piano pounding away. Made one feel restless. Or was it Brando? Hmm....
