Review of Lion (2016) by Juan G — 15 Apr 2017
The reasoning behind my '3' star review? 'Pretentious child syndrome.' Lion, effectively creates the lead protagonist complete child, mumbling over his words, and, at times, almost making the viewer feel as though they are sitting through a teenaged drama Nickelodeon dished up and through out for old times sake.
I will say however, the story behind this film, will leave you with pure joy.
