Review of Lion (2015) by Gregory M — 13 Feb 2017

The first hour of this movie was a masterpiece. It was so heartfelt, so heartbreaking and so beautiful in all its sadness. Little Sunny Pawar stole my heart, he was so good in his part, you simply couldn't look past him.

Then the last hour was more of a different kind of story, a story that carried a different weight. Dev Patel and Nicole Kidman both did a fantastic job, but the story was already heavy and by the end it was the easiest thing to be delved into all those emotions.

A really beautiful film!
