Review of Lion (2015) by Brendan N — 15 Feb 2017
The film is strong and well acted by those involved. The narrative is well created with a long section devoted to showing the separation while the next chapter is the longing distance he feels for his brother and mother.
The heavy hitter has real strong emotions that drive the film and won't leave many with dry eyes, seems to be common thread this awards season. Great filmmaking and another great film of 2016 that is a must see.
