Daniel Day Lewis demonstrates again why he is considered one of the greatest actors in the world by putting on the mantle of the legendary US president. Without an attempt at deification, Lincoln's greatness as a leader is portrayed in bold strokes.
A necessary film in these times when rarely are there towering personalities or pure of the heart taking on the politician's role. A topical film for our times.
