Review of Lincoln (2012) by Dakota B — 07 Mar 2014
Have you ever watched C-Span for a straight two hours and thirty minutes? Thats what this movie is like. Only difference is that this turd of a movie is heavily polished. It may have just been the most boring movie that I've ever watched.
Slow movies are good, but there is a limit, and this movie was slow and tedious to a fault. Not to mention that nearly all of the scenes were in poorly lit offices and the movie provided no real variety of visuals to the viewer.
Thats fine for a documentary, but this is a blockbuster movie. The only reason I'm giving this movie two stars is because Daniel Day-Lewis is carrying an entire star on his own. Predictably, his performance was spectacular.
Everything else though? Blah.
