Review of Lincoln (2012) by Edward D — 18 Apr 2014
It's easy to believe you're watching the actual former U.S. President when Daniel Day-Lewis is onscreen, and with support from Tommy Lee Jones, and Spielberg's direction, Lincoln transports you back to the 1860s. Although that means transporting you through 2.5 hours of men talking politics in dark rooms, which can seem tedious, the stellar cast make it, for the most part, exciting.
Excellent.
