An engaging concept; one that could've easily fallen flat, if not for its provocative subtext and mind-bending visuals. It's hard for a narrative piece to take flight, and "Limitless" is no exception.
Neil Burger's attempt at a cerebral thriller is a flawed film weighed down by its narrator and a handful of plot holes, but the story is interesting enough to break free.
